The home was built in 1895. The homeowners were the descendents of George Washington's beloved half brother from his father's 1st marriage. George did not have any biological children. Mark and Valerie Fredrick of 1st Ky Realty, LLC - real estate brokers - saved the home and guest house from becoming a parking lot. There are multiple bedrooms  in the home and guest house.  The kitchen has been modernized while maintaining the elegance of a fine Queen Anne style Victorian home.
